General Notes: Husband - Isaac McCoy

---

He was second in order of birth in the family, and spent the days of his boyhood and youth in Clarion borough, Clarion County, Pennsylvania, and obtained a good practical education in the bor­ough schools. Learning the blacksmith's trade, he successfully followed that pursuit for over forty years, and he also engaged to some ex­tent in lumber, but gave the greater part of his time and attention to farming. He was the owner of a valuable farm of 105 acres in Beaver township, which he had under high cultivation and improved with good and substantial build­ings.

For six years he was in Missouri, and there was married in 1864. [GPHAV, 1014]
