General Notes: Husband - Archibald Glenn
He attended the common schools, and for years was engaged in lumbering in Pine, Cool Spring and Lake Townships of Mercer County, Pennsylvania. He enlisted in Company F, Fifty-seventh Pennsylvania Volunteers, and served two years. He was in the seven days’ fight, was wounded in the shoulder at Charles City Cross Roads, and was in the battle of Fredericksburg. In 1875 they went from his saw-mill to a farm, a part of which was the old homestead of her father. They were members of the Center Presbyterian Church. He was a Republican. [HMC 1888, 953]
