General Notes: Husband - Zebulon Cooper

He was born in the old log cabin on his father's farm in Slippery Rock township, Butler County, PA. He was reared on the homestead, and attended the pioneer schools of his neighborhood. He remained with his parents until he was thirty years of age, assisting his father on the farm, and in 1846 settled on 109 acres of the same tract, which his father gave him. He resided on this place for nine years, then sold it and purchased 120 acres in Worth township, to which he later added 180 acres, which includes the site of his home. There he resided for nearly forty years engaged in farming.
