General Notes: Husband - Daniel McGregor

He was a pioneer of Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, coming there from Huntingdon County, when most of the county was still in its primitive condition. He purchased eighty acres of timber land in Porter township, built a log house and barn, and began to clear and cultivate the place.
