General Notes: Husband - George Steer


He was a native of Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, whence he removed to Porter township, Jefferson County, there locating on 200 acres of land. He was one of the first settlers of that section. He cleared his land, made a good home for his family, and died at the age of seventy-six years.
