General Notes: Husband - Luke D. Turner
He was one of the pioneers of Pine Grove, Warren County, Pennsylvania, having come there in 1827 with his wife and five children. He went to Venango County after a residence in Warren County of but four years, and he died there.
He came to Russellburg in 1827, kept a public house there for many years, and in 1839 moved to Limestone.
He was born in Vermont, in 1776; was a lumberman and hotelkeeper in that state, settled in Northeast, Erie County, Pennsylvania, where he was a large landowner and successful farmer. He died about 1858. [GPHNP, 365]
General Notes: Wife - Elizabeth Cook
Toward the end of her life, she was blind for many years, but her mind was as clear and her memory as correct as most of those who are younger.
She was living at Russell, Warren County, Pennsylvania, in 1887, age 88 years. [HWC 1887, BP xviii]
She died in Russell, Mercer [sic] County, Pennsylvania, in 1883, aged ninety-two years. [GPHNP, 365]
