General Notes: Husband - DeLoss L. Hindman

West Sunbury, Butler Co, PA - an oil producer

He was reared on the farm, first attended the district schools and had a diploma from the same. He later attended West Sunbury Academy, and as a young man taught school for three years. During that time his father moved to West Sunbury, and the following fall the Phoe-nix Mill was erected, replacing an old mill which had been destroyed by fire some three years before.
