General Notes: Husband - Edward Crawford

The ancestor of a noted Cumberland Valley, Pennsylvania, family, he emigrated to Pennsylvania about 1740, and settled on the land in Guilford township, Franklin County, on which he died. The original tract of 640 acres was part of a Proprietary Manor that the Penns determined not to reserve. This land was still in the possession of his descendants into the twentieth century.
