General Notes: Husband - Samuel Cochran


He served in the Revolutionary War in the 7th Pennsylvania Regiment, Continental Line, and spent the winter of 1777 at Valley Forge with George Washington's army. At the close of the war he moved to a farm near Scottdale, Westmoreland County.
