General Notes: Husband - Isaac W. Agrelius

His ancestors were representative and influential citizens of their country. Because of his aversion to the customary planned marriages among those of rank, was disinherited and cast adrift.

To him and his wife nine children were born, one dying at the age of two years. He and his wife, with five sons and one daughter, came to America and settled in Brokenstraw township, Warren County, Pennsylvania, in 1851. Two sons and one daughter were born after their arrival.
