Ruby A. Cobler
Ruby A. Cobler, 87, of Knox died at 11:30 am Tuesday in the Oil City hospital.
Born June 23, 1904, in Bea­ver Township, Clarion County, she was a daughter of the late Charles H. and Emma C. Exley Switzer.
She married Beryl V. Cobler on October 2, 1929. He died in 1973.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Cobler enjoyed quilting, needlework and camping.
She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ at Knox RD 2.
She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star of Clarion.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. J. Wendell (Marilyn) Mong of Knox RD 2 and Norma Armstrong of Emlen­ton; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eula Klingler; and two brothers, Stanley Switzer and Relp Switz­er.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm today in the William N. Rupert Mor­tuary in Knox.
Funeral services will be con­ducted at 1 pm Thursday in the funeral home, Rev. Raymond Faulds, pastor of the St. Paul United Church of Christ, will officiate.
Interment will follow in St. Paul Union Cemetery at Knox RD 2.
