In the source that gives his name as Henry Leonard, it states that he was formerly a successful farmer in the Hominy Ridge district of Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, but later maintained his home in Los Angeles, California. [HJC 1917 II, 573] There may be confusion between this man and his brother John.
