The Aggers family came to Pennsylvania from Germany where for many generations they were seated in and near Bremen.
He was a farmer near Bremen all his life, noted locally for his great strength and endurance. Both he and his wife were Lutherans. After his death his widow came to the United States and lived in Snowden township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, with her children until her death at an advanced age.
