Notes: Toward A. Couse. Graveside services at Lakeview Cemetery next week are planned for Howard A. Couse, retired chief counsel for General Electric's Lamp Division, who died yesterday in LaJolla, Calif., at the age of 86. Mr. Couse was at Nela Park from 1919 to 1945. He lived at Wade Park Manor until he moved west in 1950. While here, he was active in Calvary Presbyterian Church, City Masonic Lodge and Shaker Heights Country Club. He also wrote books on law. Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Herbert L. Schlitt, of Cleveland Heights, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His wife died several years ago. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Brown-Forward Funeral Home.
