General Notes: Husband - David F. Taylor
In 1869 he and his wife emigrated to Iowa, remained there for a time, then returned home, located on his father's farm, and he followed farming as his vocation until March, 1875; they then emigrated to Nebraska, remained about two years, and then again returned to Canal township, and engaged in the mercantile business in Canal Centre, in company with M. H. Clough. He was Postmaster, and kept the office in his store. He was the father of three sons. [HVC 1879, 555]
