General Notes: Husband - Thomas Adams

His birth occurred east of the Alleghany Mountains, in Pennsylvania, and he grew to manhood in Huntingdon County. Moving further west he first located in West Mahoning township, Indiana County. He married there and later took up his residence in Porter township, Jefferson County, there purchasing 357 acres of wild forest land. He erected a log house and barn and cleared 100 acres of the tract, making that place his home until called to his final rest.
