General Notes: Husband - Frank B. Hetrick


He was reared in Knox township, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania, where he had such educational privileges as the public schools afforded. His early employment was in the lumber woods, and he continued to be so occupied until 1899. In 1900 he came to Brookville, where he then made his home, his work being principally in Jefferson and adjoining counties. Mr. Hetrick familiarized himself with the most up-to-date processes and appliances used in drilling, particularly in making tests for coal, to which he gave special attention. He was a member of the firm of Mehrten, Chitester & Co. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
