General Notes: Husband - Worthington W. Corbett


He was reared in Clarion and Armstrong counties, Pennsylvania. He obtained his education in the public schools and in the normal school at Dayton, and learned the carpenter's trade with his father, following that line of work for twenty years in Armstrong county. In 1884 he embarked in the drug business at New Bethlehem, and the establishment prospered from the start. Beginning in 1906 his son Norvin A. Corbett was associated with him, under the name of W. W. Corbett & Son. Mr. Corbett resided at South Bethlehem beginning in 1884, and served as school director for over two decades from that year. He was justice of the peace of Mahoning township and South Bethlehem for over thirty years, serving as such continuously beginning in 1881. In political connection he is a Republican. He and his family were members of the Baptist Church.
