General Notes: Husband - Robert Cook Clark

Thomas Clark, the grandfather of Robert Cook Clark, was one of the early settlers of Washington County, Pennsylvania, coming from Carlisle in 1789 and locating in what is now Robinson Township.

About 1854 he purchased a farm near Hickory, where he continued to reside until 1864, when he removed with his family to West Middletown, living there until his death.

Her grandfather, Thomas McCall, came to America from Ireland when but a boy, and lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, until shortly after the Revolutionary War, when he removed to Washington County and took up about 400 acres of land in Mt. Pleasant Township.
