General Notes: Husband - Henry Hunter


At the age of thirteen he went [from Philadelphia?] to Strasburg, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where he served an apprenticeship to the shoemaker's trade, and was married. After his marriage, Mr. Hunter removed to Franklin County, and in 1847 came to Clearfield County, where he purchased land and engaged in farming and shoemaking. He and his wife held membership in the Presbyterian Church.
