General Notes: Husband - Samuel Zeigler
He was reared in the home of his parents, and learned the blacksmith's trade. He afterwards worked four years at Renfrew, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and two years at Mars. He sold out his shop at Mars in 1889, and went to Clinton township, where he remained one year, then purchased the old Mahood farm in Penn township, upon which he then resided. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, and in politics, he was an adherent of the Republican party.
