General Notes: Husband - Charles Clark

His parents lived and died in the state of Massachu-setts. He was educated in the public schools of that state, and in early manhood came to Pennsylvania, where he settled at McKeesport, Allegheny County, and there was su-perintendent of a department in an iron factory. He soon abandoned this, however, and engaged in business as a general merchant, continuing this for some years, then became a traveling salesman, an occupation with which he was identified until his death. He took an active part in the public affairs of his town in the interests of the Republican party, and served as a school director. He and his wife were members of the Baptist Church.
