General Notes: Husband - Alpheus B. Clark

He was born in York County, Pennsylvania. He was brought, in 1841, by his parents, to Indiana County.
He followed lumbering very extensively as his occupation, and was among the largest dealers in Montgomery township. For a few years he was employed part of his time in farming.

Civil War: In October, 1861, he enlisted in the 105th Pennsylvania volunteer infantry, and served until January 12, 1864.
