George Coon, Formerly Of Reno, Dies
George Coon, 86, of Lodi, Calif., formerly of Reno and a retired employe of the Pennzoil Co., died at 11 pm Friday in Lodi, according to word received here.
He was born June 1, 1888, in Bradford, a son of Jacob and Elizabeth Coon.
His wife, the former Ina Stuchell, is deceased.
Mr. Coon moved to California after he retired. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge.
He is survived by a son, Norman Lyle Coon of Gault, Calif.; a sister, Alice Coon of Reno; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Removal was made to the East Pine Funeral Home in Lodi, where funeral services will be held Tuesday.
