General Notes: Husband - Henry R. Fox


He was reared in Mount Pleasant township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where he learned the trade of tanner, but soon moved back to his native township and followed the tanning business for several years. He then engaged in farming and pursued it during the remainder of his life. He was a member of the Mennonite church, an old-line whig and after-wards a republican.
