General Notes: Husband - Daniel Condit

For many years he was a useful and zealous member of the Presbyterian Church, and was ordained an elder September 12, 1858. He was superintendent of the Sunday-school, and leader of the choir for twenty years, a position later occupied by his son. He was very fond of Scripture and historical reading. Politically he was first a Whig and then a Repub-lican, serving as school director and treasurer of the township for many years.
