General Notes: Husband - Philip Snyder


He was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, was reared in his native county, and came to Butler County in 1815. He purchased the White farm, in what is now Middlesex township, consisting of 200 acres, which he cleared and improved. Before coming to Butler County he had married.
He and his wife were members of the Seceder church.
