General Notes: Husband - Robert Adams


He was born in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. He remained till he was fourteen years of age, when he moved with his parents to Jefferson County. When twenty-one years of age he went to Clarion County, where he married. In the year 1856 he left Clarion County and moved to Warren County, where he lived till 1863, when he came to a farm in President township, Venango County. He was a farmer, though he occasionally worked at the carpenter's trade.

He was engaged in lumbering, and in the various branches of the oil
business. He was later farming for fifteen years or more.

His oldest son was in the Civil War, and later resided in Dakota Territory.


Notes: Marriage

They were the parents of eleven children; eight were living, three dead in 1890. Three sons were in Dakota, one in Iowa; three daughters and one son were in President township, Venango County.
