General Notes: Husband - David Chambers

Wesleyville, Erie Co, PA

He and his wife came from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania (named after the Chambers family), to Erie County, about 1812-14, settling on a 400-acre tract of land purchased from the Holland or Population Co. They were parents of ten children, eight living in 1884. [HEC 1884, Bios 137]

His father located in Erie County, Pennsylvania, in an early day, buying, in company with his brother, several hundred acres of land. He became heir to a part of his father's property.

He died in 1878. [HMEF, 344]
