General Notes: Husband - Daniel Stambaugh
He received his education in the common schools of the township, and was bred a farmer. He located near Sharon, Pennsylvania, in 1836, and engaged in operating coal mines until 1844, when he purchased the Nathaniel Hazen farm, in Hickory Township, Mercer County, where he lived for fifteen years, when he purchased the farm of Lewis Lightner, containing 275 acres, in Pymatuning Township, where he lived for fifteen years. He then purchased a place, known as the Budd farm, in Pymatuning Township. In politics he was a Prohibitionist, and he was connected with the Methodist Episcopal Church.
