General Notes: Husband - Samuel Kee


He emigrated in early manhood to the United States [from the north of Ireland?]. He settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he passed his entire after life. He was a boss maltster and spent over twenty-five years with one house in Philadelphia, known first as Robert Gray & Company, then as Dobson & Company and later as E. Magee. He belonged to the I. O. O. F., advocated the cause of the Republican party and was a member of the Protestant Episcopal church.
