General Notes: Husband - John C. Cochran
He was engaged in farming near Scottdale, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, until 1860 when he migrated to Missouri where he settled in Clark County for a short time. He next removed to Hancock County, Illinois, where he resided for one year and then returned to Westmoreland County. He was a republican-prohibitionist, and a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
He and his wife had seven children; all were still living in 1890.
