General Notes: Husband - William Carter

---

He was a teacher by profession, but in later years followed engineering. He was justice of the peace for many years.

In early life he followed the profession of teaching. Subsequently he was an engineer, after which he worked in the cutlery business at Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and owned an interest in the paper mills there.
