General Notes: Husband - John Clutter

A native of Ireland, he immigrated to New Jersey in early colonial days, and was the earliest ancestor of the family in America. He moved to Washington County, Pennsylvania, in 1788, and located on a farm of about six hundred acres one mile north of Lindley's Mills, where he died.
