General Notes: Husband - William Carothers

---

He married and settled at once on the family homestead, on the Chambersburg Pike.

He acquired a fine farm of 200 acres, on which he had a handsome residence and substantial farm buildings. He was a conscientious member of the Presbyterian Church.
