General Notes: Husband - Stephen Adonijah Pounds

One of his ancestors was Thomas Pounds who, in 1635, at the age of twenty-one "sailed from London to New England, embarked in the Elizabeth and Ann." His wife was one of the children who came to America in the Mayflower in 1620.

John Cannon, who came to Plymouth colony in 1621, had two descendants, Hannah Cannon, married to Stephen Adonijah Pounds, and Ella Cannon, married to William Drummond.

Another source also suggests that this person was Stephen A. Pounds (killed in the war for independence) and his wife was Hannah Cannon.
