General Notes: Husband - George Christley
The Christleys are of German origin and were among the early residents of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Soon after the close of the Revolutionary war, George Christley removed from Lancaster to Westmoreland County.
They came to Mercer County, in 1812 and settled in Liberty Township.
He was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and grew to manhood in Westmoreland county, and about 1811 removed to North Liberty, Mercer county, where the remaining years of his life were spent.
He was a cabinet-maker.
