General Notes: Husband - H. Fred Herold
He followed agriculture all his life and had 100 acres of land in Center Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, all under cultivation. He operated a dairy in connection with his farm, supplying the milk for Herold's Dairy, which was conducted by his sons, and which distributed in Butler and vicinity. Mr. Herold was a Republican, and was identified with St. Mark's Lutheran Church. He served as school director for twelve years, and as secretary of the school board for nine years.
