He was a graduate of the Jefferson Medical college, of Philadelphia, and for some time a practicing physician of Goheenville, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. He took typhoid fever in Philadelphia while on his way to attend the College of Physicians and Surgeons, of New York, and came home, where he died.
