General Notes: Husband - Aaron H. Van Cleve
He and his wife were married in New York City and shortly after they removed to Pennsylvania, where he had charge of large mining interests. In 1846 they returned to Trenton, New Jersey, where he became organizer of the Trenton Locomotive & Machine Manufacturing Company, of which he became president. Later he became purchasing agent for the Pennsylvania Railroad Company, at South Amboy, New Jersey, and subsequently superintendent of the Western Division of the Chesapeake & Ohio railroad, with headquarters at Huntington, West Virginia. He spent his declining years in Trenton, New Jersey.
