General Notes: Husband - John Camp

He and his brother Michael came to the United States in 1832, first locating in Philadelphia, then in Butler County, Pennsylvania, and finally in Beaver County. They crossed over the mountains in a wagon, and at Rochester made a stop, and there he erected the old National Hotel on Water street; he later owned the one later adjoining, known as the Farmer's Hotel.
