General Notes: Husband - Benjamin C. Haven
He received but a limited education, and engaged in manufacturing lumber, shingles, etc. He lived at Custer City, McKean County, Pennsylvania, beginning when he was twenty years of age, with the exception of ten years spent in Bradford as foreman in a lumber-mill.
He had four oil wells on his farm. He was always identified with the Republican party, and served as constable and collector of Bradford township when a young man, and also served as school director and supervisor for five years. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Norwich township.
