General Notes: Husband - John K. Graham
He was born in Butler County, Pennsylvania, and was brought to Allegheny County by his parents when two months old. He received the benefits of the schools of that place, and was engaged principally in farming, but operated some in real estate.
He and his family were members of the U. P. Church of Buena Vista, he being a member of the sessions of that church.
He grew to maturity in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and there inherited a portion of the homestead, upon which he lived the greater part of his life. The buildings of the estate were remodeled at his direction and he was at one time a farmer on an extensive scale, later disposing of a part of his property. His early political party was the Whig, and he at one time held the office of elder in the Associate Reformed Church, subsequently transferring his religious allegiance to the United Presbyterian Church, of which he was also an elder.
