General Notes: Husband - Isaac Teeple

He was born in the State of New Jersey and at the age of seventeen years came to Washington County, Pennsylvania, locating at Columbia, in "Horseshoe Bottom" (so called by the Indians), Carroll township.
He began wedded life on a new farm in Carroll township, where he erected a log cabin and conducted one of the first distilleries in that locality, a business he followed throughout life in connection with farming. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, and in politics voted with the Democratic party.
