General Notes: Husband - James B. Caldwell
He married and established his home in Lawrence township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania, where he purchased ninety-six acres of woodland. This he cleared and improved, erecting comfortable buildings, but in 1867, about the time of the oil excitement, he sold the place to Goodfellow & McCullough, and removed to the Amos Reed farm in the same township.
His first wife died at the first home, and after his removal he married a second time; but his last years were spent at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Stambaugh, where he passed eventually passed away.
