General Notes: Husband - Moses Louthan

He was a native of Scotland, and his parents were the first representatives of the family in America. They settled in Virginia, where their son Moses, in early manhood, engaged in farming. Later in life, however, he removed to South Beaver township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, being one of the earliest settlers of that county.

He and his parents, all natives of Scotland, emigrated to America, and settled in Virginia. There he engaged in farming. Later he removed to South Beaver township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, where he was one of the first settlers, and where he lived to be more than eighty years of age. He was a member of the Salem Church congregation and one of its first elders.
