General Notes: Husband - Frederick Byers
The Byers, of Marion Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, are descendants of a family originally from Germany, and early settlers in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
He was born in Westmoreland County; early in life he located in Armstrong County where he was married. In 1840 he brought his family to Butler County, the locality later known as Annandale Station, on the Shenango & Allegheny Railroad, pur-chasing the premises first occupied and improved by Philip Stoops.
