Among the Folks, 30 years ago- 26 Nov-Dec 3 1931:
A most regrettable accident happened early on the morning after Thanksgiving, when Arnold Adams, 19 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Hulbert Adams who live near
Kidley, received a broken neck when his car ran into a ditch and struck a fence post south of Collier's garage. Young Adams, together with Rev. Bolen of Chrisman, were returning from Paris but due to snow falling quite fast on the windshield made driving most hazardous and young Adams lost control of the car. Young Adams was pronounced dead at the Paris hospital. Bolen was unhurt.
