General Notes: Husband - James Butler
He followed the occupation of iron worker, being a pattern-maker and molder. In 1803-04 he was employed at the old Ross Furnace, in the Allegheny mountains. He finally settled on Blacklick creek, near the furnace in Wheatfield township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, and there spent his life.
He was a Catholic in religious faith, his wife belonging to the Methodist Episcopal Church.
