General Notes: Husband - Preston Chambers
He received his education in the common schools and Sewickley academy. Leaving school he engaged in farming and for some years he was engaged in selling agricultural implements. He owned one of the best farms in the county. It contained over one hundred acres of land adjoining Pleasant Unity. He was a stanch republican in politics. He was a member and trustee and treasurer of Pleasant Unity Presbyterian church.
