General Notes: Husband - Jacob Carner


He came to Rockland township, Venango County, PA, with his father in 1827. About 1847, he purchased one hundred twenty acres from John Kellerman, but sold this farm in 1849 when he moved to Cranberry township, Butler County, to live with his brother Adam. He remained there until 1853 when he moved to Connoquenessing township, Butler County, to live with his father-in-law. About 1866, he moved back to Rockland township, Venango County, where he remained the rest of his life. He and his family lived on a farm of one hundred acres located on the Coal City Road. After his death in 1903, the farm was willed to his wife but she soon sold it.
